The Intersection of Art and AI Exhibition 2022

"You're a bot; the culmination of bureaucracy and indifference. When the last person who gave a shit died, you and your kind bubbled up from some wellspring of techno-apathy, and now here we are" (Sweeney, 2022).

This piece, hand-drawn on plexiglass, addresses the modern notion of raging against the machine. It is an attempt to dissect the multitude of layers that make up an artificial intelligence robot that incubates and mimics human emotion. This artwork is inspired by American author Luke Sweeney's philosophical exploration of alienation, consciousness, and their intersection with new technology, titled "Auxilium".
